Located in an industrial park in the west end of Ottawa, behind the body shop and across from the auto parts store, is an oasis of creative and artistic activity. Stafford Studios is a group of nine professional artists who share fabulous studio and gallery space in the Nepean Creative Arts Centre.
Stafford Studios artists work in a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, photography, printmaking, video, set design and installation art.
They are involved in cultural and creative arts organizations, and teach in the community and local school boards.
They frequently exhibit their work, both independently and collectively, in galleries and exhibitions. Stafford Studios hosts an annual open house that attracts hundreds of the national capital's hip, chic and hungry.
